HOW TO GET YOUR FREE ANNUAL CREDIT REPORT

As mandated by Congress in the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003, you have the right to receive a free report from each of the major credit agencies once per year.  It may be a good idea to stagger your requests from each of the agencies throughout the year.  The three agencies are Equifax, Experian and TransUnion .

You can order your report online at http://www.annualcreditreport.com   or by calling 877-322-8228.  When making your request, you will be asked to verify who you are by answering certain things which will be known only by you.
